Q: Where does my donation go?
Q: What percentage of my donation goes directly to the projects?

We are proud to maintain a 100% direct impact model. All donations go straight to education, food, medical care, rent, and self-sustaining projects. No funds are used for overhead from donations.

Q: Can I donate to a specific project?

Yes! You can direct your gift towards the project of your choice by selecting the corresponding donation link on the Programs and Impact page.

Q: How much does it cost to support one child per month?

On average, it costs approximately $35–$45 per child per month to cover food, education, and basic care, depending on the project.

Q: How does Ugonma Rising cover its own operating costs?

Current urgent needs include rent assistance, food supplies, water wells for farms, and school fees. Long-term needs focus on self-sustaining projects like farm development and land acquisition.

100% of your donation goes directly to the projects and orphanages we support. Ugonma Rising does not take any administrative fees from donations — every dollar helps children in need.

Q: What are the biggest needs right now?

Operating costs (website, communication, etc.) are covered by a small group of dedicated board members and special donors, not from general donations.

Q: Are donations tax deductible?

Yes. Ugonma Rising is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible in the United States. You will receive a receipt for your records.
