Founded in loving memory of Cheri Douglas — a wife, mother, grandmother, artist and businesswoman who deeply loved Jesus. Ugonma Rising was born from her passion for nurturing young lives through faith and learning and a deep love for her friends in Africa. Cheri’s heart for business and faith inspires our core mission. We partner with orphanages and schools to develop sustainable business models and build self-supporting enterprises. Our passion stems from a desire to insure dignity and long-term stability for the children in their care.
